ORDINANCE NO. 249

 

AN ORDINANCE IN THE TOWN OF SOUTH PRAIRIE, PIERCE COUNTY, WASHINGTON ESTABLISHING UTILITY CHANGE FUND NO. 410

 

Whereas, the town staff is periodically required to make change for the payment of utility bills, and

 

Whereas, receipt and expenditures of monies from funds should be kept within the specific fund involved.

 

Now, therefore, the Town Council of the Town of South Prairie, Pierce County, Washington do ordain as follows:

 

Section 1: There is hereby established a Utility Change Fund No. 410. The purpose of this fund is to allow the receipt and expenditure of monies to provide change to utility customers on the payments on their utility bills.

 

Section 2: If any provision of this ordinance, or any ordinance affected by it is held invalid or unenforceable for any reason, the remaining provisions shall remain in force and affect.

 

Section 3: This ordinance shall take affect and be in force five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and publication as required by law.
