ORDINANCE NO. 279

AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF SOUTH PRAIRIE, WASHINGTON, PROHIBITING PARKING ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF HIGHWAY 162 FROM EMERY STREET WEST TO CITY LIMITS.

Whereas, the Town of South Prairie, has made a determination that it is in the best interest of the public safety and welfare to prohibit parking on the south side of Highway 162 from Emery Street west to the Town limits.

Now, therefore, the Town of South Prairie, Pierce County, Washington do ordain as follows:

Section 1: Parking is hereby prohibited in the Town of South Prairie, Washington on the south side of State Route 162 from Emery Street west to Town limits.

Section 2: Should any provision of this ordinance be held invalid or unenforceable for any reason, the remaining provisions of this ordinance shall be held in full force and effect.
