ORDINANCE NO. 415
AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF SOUTH
PRAIRIE, PIERCE COUNTY, WASHINGTON DESIGNATING THE TOWN CLERK AS RECEPIENT OF
CLAIMS MADE AGAINST THE TOWN OF SOUTH PRAIRIE.
Whereas,
the
State Legislature has requested that all towns set forth a designated official
for the receipt of claims, and
Whereas, the Town Clerk is an appropriate person
for the receipt of such claims.
Now,
therefore, the Town Council of the Town of South Prairie, Pierce County,
Washington do ordain as follows:
Section 1: That the Town Clerk is designated and
authorized to receive claims made against the Town of South Prairie on behalf
of the Town of South Prairie.
Section 3: If any provision of this ordinance is
deemed to be invalid or unenforceable for any reason, the remaining provisions
shall remain in force and affect.
Section 4: This ordinance
shall be effective immediately upon passage.
