ORDINANCE NO. 459
AN ORDINANCE
OF THE TOWN OF SOUTH PRAIRIE, PIERCE COUNTY, WASHINGTON AMENDING THE 2005
BUDGET ORDINANCE NO. 457, TO REVISE THE BEGINNING FUND
BALANCES.
Whereas, Ordinance No. 457
established the 2005 budget, and
Whereas, updated bank balance
information necessitated the modification of Ordinance No. 457 to reflect the
beginning fund balances accurately, and
Whereas, the exact beginning fund balances could not have been foreseen
at the time of the passage of Ordinance No. 457.
Now,
therefore, the Town Council of the Town of South Prairie, Pierce County,
Washington do ordain as follows:
Section
1: Ordinance No.
457, 2005 Budget Ordinance, beginning fund balances, be amended as set forth on
Exhibit "1" attached hereto and incorporated by reference as if set
out in full.
Section
2: An emergency is declared to
exist, the facts set forth above, could not have reasonably been foreseen at
the time of the passage of the 2005 Budget Ordinance No. 457.
Section
3: Budget
Ordinance No. 457 is hereby reaffirmed in all respects except as specifically
amended herein.
Section
4: If any .provision
of this ordinance, or Ordinance No. 457, is determined to be invalid or
unenforceable for any reason, the remaining provisions of this ordinance and/or
Ordinance No. 457 shall remain in force and affect.
Section 5: This ordinance shall take effect
and be in force five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and
publication as required. by law.
