ORDINANCE NO. 453

AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF SOUTH PRAIRIE, PIERCE COUNTY, WASHINGTON ESTABLISHING FUND NO. 110, SOUTH PRAIRIE VETERANS MEMORIAL FUND, AND PROVIDING THE RECEIPT AND EXPENDITURE FOR SOUTH PRAIRIE VETERANS MEMORIAL.

Whereas, the Town desires to establish the South Prairie Veterans Memorial, and

Whereas, the establishment of a separate fund is necessary for the receipt and expenditure of funds for the South Prairie Veterans Memorial, and

Whereas, a Veterans Memorial, to honor the country's veterans, is for the general benefit of public health, safety and welfare.

Now, therefore, the Town Council of the Town of South Prairie, Pierce County, Washington do ordain as follows:

Section 1: There is hereby established South Prairie Veterans Memorial Fund, Fund No. 110 for the receipt and expenditure of funds for the South Prairie Veterans Memorial.

Section 2: If any provision of this ordinance is determined to be invalid or unenforceable for any reason, the remaining provisions shall remain in force and affect.

Section 3: This ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and publication as required by law.
